Important Notice: Please read and fully understand these Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms"), especially the clauses concerning your vital rights and interests, which may be highlighted in bold. These include, but are not limited to, clauses that exclude or limit Lasuo's liability, as well as those governing dispute resolution and applicable law. If you are a minor, you must review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian. You may not use the services provided by Lasuo unless you accept all of these Terms. By downloading, installing, registering for an account, logging in, or using the Service, you are deemed to have read and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

1. General Provisions
1.1 These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as "User" or "you") and the operating entity of Lasuo (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "Lasuo") regarding your download, installation, and use of the "Lasuo" mobile application, related websites, and the language learning services we provide (collectively, the "Service").
1.2 We reserve the right to update these Terms when necessary. The updated Terms will be published on our platform and will become effective upon publication. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the Service. Your continued use of the Service will be deemed as your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Account Registration and Use
2.1 You must register for an account using a valid email address or other methods permitted by us, and you must provide true, accurate, and complete information. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
2.2 You are responsible for safeguarding your account information and password and assume full responsibility for any and all activities that occur through your account. If you discover any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.
2.3 You must be at least 13 years of age to register for and use the Service. If you are under 13 or below the higher age of consent in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent or legal guardian read, agree to, and supervise your use of the Service.
3. Service Content and Data Usage
When you use the content provided on our platform, we collect information such as your viewing history, duration, and progress to track your learning and provide personalized recommendations.
3.1 Role-Play/Speaking Practice: You can practice by repeating phrases, and our AI will process your speech to provide a score. To improve our AI models, we will use de-identified interaction data after obtaining your explicit consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time in the settings; this withdrawal will not affect data processing that has already occurred based on your prior consent.
3.2 AI Conversation and Learning Suggestions: You can interact with our AI via text or voice to receive learning suggestions. We plan to use de-identified interaction data for model training and performance evaluation after obtaining your explicit and separate consent. You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time. The content generated by the AI is intended as a learning aid and does not constitute professional advice; you should independently verify its accuracy.
4. User Conduct
4.1 You agree not to use the Service to engage in the following activities:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations, endangering national security, or harming the rights and interests of others.
- Creating or disseminating content that is obscene, pornographic, violent, defamatory, invasive of privacy, fraudulent, or otherwise illegal or objectionable.
- Infringing upon the intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or other legal rights of others.
- Interfering with, disrupting, or maliciously attacking the normal operation of the Service.
- Using automated programs (e.g., bots, crawlers) to access or collect information from the Service without authorization.
- Engaging in any other conduct that we reasonably deem inappropriate.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 All intellectual property rights in the software, technology, and content provided within this Service (including but not limited to official instructional videos, audio, text, images, logos, and interface design) are owned by us or our licensors.
5.2 Without our express written consent, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or distribute any part of the Service for any commercial or non-commercial purpose.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
6.1 THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. While we strive to ensure the stability of the Service, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, timely, secure, or that it will meet your expectations. We reserve the right to suspend, interrupt, or change all or part of the Service without liability to you or any third party.
6.2 Content generated through your interaction with the AI is algorithmically produced and does not constitute professional, legal, medical, or other specialized advice. We make no warranties as to its accuracy, completeness, or applicability. You should exercise your own judgment and bear all risks associated with relying on such content.
6.3 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LASUO AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, HOWEVER CAUSED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY, IF ANY, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES (IF ANY) YOU HAVE PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lasuo and its affiliates, directors, and employees from and against any and all claims, demands, or losses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
8. Service Modification and Termination
8.1 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service based on business development, technological updates, or legal requirements.
8.2 You may terminate your account at any time. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without liability if you breach these Terms or your account remains inactive for an extended period.

10. Miscellaneous
10.1 The validity, interpretation, execution, and dispute resolution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws agreed upon between you and us (or, if not explicitly agreed, the laws of the jurisdiction where the Lasuo operating entity is located), without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
10.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
10.3 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede all prior oral or written agreements.
